The Casey-Westfield Golf Team won the schools first Regional Golf Championship since 2012. The Warriors shot a team score of 348 to outlast St. Joseph-Ogden, Catlin (Salt Fork), and 10 other schools to win the Regional by 5 strokes at Danville Country Club. Carson Hall shot an 82 to finish 2nd overall individually, Skyler Lowe's 86 earned him 5th place honors, and Tyler Volk shot 87 to finish in 7th place.
The Warriors moved on to Sectional play at Turtle Run Golf Club in Danville for the right to move on to the State Finals. It was a tough day on the golf course for the Warriors as the season came to an end. Coaches Landry Huisinga and Jason Garver were pleased with the progress the team made this season and couldn't be more proud of the results. They would like to encourage any young man or woman who wishes to compete in golf next season to send them an email at landry.huisinga@caseywestfield.org or to find them on Facebook if they would like any help over next spring and summer in preparation for next season.
