The Casey-Westfield Jr./Sr. Choir performed renditions of classic Disney hits on Sunday afternoon. The energy was electric, and the voices were breathtaking. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! #DisneyMusic #WarriorPride

Representatives from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters spoke to my students on Friday morning about their craft and the opportunities it could create for them. The students asked questions and gathered important information to help guide them in a possible future career pathway. Thank you so much to Joshua Robertson, Pete Koester, and Houston Kirby for taking time out of your busy schedules for my students!

8th grade students were introduced to scholarly debate today in ELA. Classes have been reading "Flowers for Algernon," in which the main character desperately wants to be smart. Students were asked to prepare debate points on whether they felt it was more important to be smart or to be popular.
