The CW Lady Warrior Basketball team will play in the 2023 Dieterich Holiday Tournament at Dieterich High School. The tournament kicks off for the Warriors at 4 pm against Arcola. Dailey Tickets for the tournament are $3 for Students and $5 for Adults and can be purchased at the door.

The CW Boys Basketball team will tip off at 3 pm CST at Terre Haute South High School. The Tickets for the tournament will be sold at the door. Below is the information on purchasing from Terre Haute South. Two websites for the Classic are included: 1. Official Website for the Classic https://firstfinclassic.net/ 2. The Tournament Eventlink ticket site is https://websites.eventlink.com/s/terre-haute-south-vigo/Tickets. Tournament Passes are sold in tangible, paper form. They cost $25 and will be sold at the door on the first day. Daily tickets are $10. The individual tickets are available in both paper and digital forms. The individual tickets can be purchased on the website provided above.

Saturday's Boys Basketball Game at Pal/Hut has cancelled by the host due to the host's shortage of gym availability.

Tonight's Girls' Basketball Home Game against Altamont has been canceled due to illness and injury. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Reminder: Family Reading Night is tomorrow, November 16th. The Chili and Cinnamon Roll meal will be served from 5:30-7:00pm. Reading and AR testing will be held from 6:00-7:30pm. Please enter through the office doors. Students will test in room 85 and can make a special "camping" snack in room 72. Those in attendance will have a chance to win the PTO giveaway. Please plan to attend!

Absences Add Up!

The school district has an opening for the Unit Office Secretary position. This is a 12-month position, hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F. Responsibilities include the transportation program, meals programs, district treasurer, communication with staff and the public, and assisting the superintendent. Oakland Noodles will be delivered on November 20th to Monroe. We will sort and get them out to students ASAP. If you had an extra large order, we will be contacting you for pick-up. All other orders will be sent home with students. This may be a two day process, so please do not panic if you do not get your noodles on Monday... you will for sure get noodles by Tuesday. The position of JH/HS Secretary is currently open. A description of the hours and benefits are listed below. Feel free to e-mail Mr. Sullivan with any questions. JH/HS Secretary Position Hours & Pay: The current hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with a one-hour paid lunch. Summer Break hours are 8 am to 3 pm and 8 am to 1 pm on Friday. The HS Secretary position is a 12-month position; they receive 12 paid holidays with 2 double-time working holidays (Veterans Day and Casimir Pulaski Day) throughout the year. After the first year, this position gets ten vacation days; after 15 years, it goes up to 15 days. The starting pay is $14.00/hour. Additionally, the district pays $475 per month toward the health insurance contribution if this person takes the district-provided insurance. This position has 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and two bereavement days.
